Joshua Tansley
Kia Ora! I’m Josh, an automotive photographer based in Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington, in Aotearoa New Zealand.
Born in England, raised in Aotearoa, and shaped by Polish roots, I’ve always been drawn to cars. It began with spotting classic Minis in the UK with my dad and racing virtual sports cars in Test Drive Unlimited and Need for Speed.
As a child, I also loved evening drives to see the ‘little tiny lights’ that lined quiet streets at Christmas. Those moments turned the ordinary into something magical, and it was then that I began to notice light. Today, I chase that same sense of wonder in every project, capturing the light, details, and moments that make cars, from classics to exotics, feel alive. I work on automotive commissions, creating images that tell stories and create results.
